AGE GROUP COORDINATORS AND STAFF

Program Director

The program director represents the Foothills Technical Committee (FTC) on the club board of directors. In addition the program director serves as chair of the FTC and as point of first contact for technical directors in the club.

Age Group Coordinators

The age group coordinators (AGCs) along with the club program director make up the FTC. The FTC manages and administers the various age group programs in the club. Each AGC represents a specific age group program and reports to the FTC at regular monthly meetings.

The roles of the AGCs are as follows:

• Serve as the club contact for players, coaches, managers and parents in a specific age group for matters relating to player, team and coach development.
• Represent the best interests of a specific age group to the FTC.
• Communicate regularly with team coaches and managers in a specific age group.
• Assist in monitoring the progress of players, teams and coaches in a specific age group.
• Assist the program director in matters relating to discipline and breaches to the club code of conduct.
• Oversee the scheduling, staffing, and execution of team formation activities each pre-season for a specific age group.
• Assist in the processing of player placement appeals in a specific age group.
• Assist in securing coaches for teams in a specific age group.
• Maintain ongoing communication with club technical directors and other AGCs in the club.
• Maintain a deep understanding of CMSA, ASA and CSA rules of play.
• Represent the club with the highest standards of integrity and professionalism at all times.
• Be a first point of contact for people that are interested in joining the Club

Foothills Soccer Club consists of players with a variety of skill and interest levels. It is the club's mandate to provide programs for all levels of play and for this reason the club has adopted specialized representation for recreational and competitive level players.

Technical Directors

Technical directors build, implement, monitor and continuously improve the Foothills technical and tactical curriculum. The TDs determine the direction of the club as it pertains to developing players, coaches and teams. TDs provide leadership and expertise to the club and are assisted by the FTC and associated AGCs in delivering a top quality player and coach experience.
